Abhishek Murarka


Abhishek is a keen student and practitioner of value investing and specializes in identifying undervalued stocks in the small and mid cap space. He presently looks into Financial Services, Consumer Products and the Energy Sector in India with special focus on the Oil and Gas industry. A Chartered Accountant by qualification and B.Com (Hons.) Graduate from St. Xaviers’ College, Kolkata, he owes his extensive understanding of various sectors to his 2 years of work at ICICI Bank. As the business analyst for the structured finance group, he oversaw the largest inorganic loan portfolio in the industry. He was a member of the ICICI Bank talent pool and a winner of the ‘Quality Award - 2013’. He will be joining Multiples Alternative Assets Management for a two month internship in April 2015.




Mohit Kataria


Mohit takes keen interest in the Energy and Infrastructure sector and tracks the latest developments in the global economy and their impact on the stock markets. After graduating in Mechanical Engineering from PEC, Chandigarh, he worked for two years at a UK-based consulting services firm The Smart Cube.
He worked with multinational clients across various industry verticals (Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Food Services and Pharmaceutical), advising them on strategy, marketing, procurement and supply chain. He has developed an expertise in Market-Entry Strategies, Market-Size Estimations, Industrial Benchmarking and Competitive Analysis. Mohit will be working with the Boston Consulting Group as an intern.




Nishtha Khandelwal


Nishtha studied B.Com (Honours) at Shri Ram College of Commerce, specializing in Finance and Investment Management where she topped her college. She has been included in the list of 100 Intellectuals of India and has been invited by Dr. Manmohan Singh to the Republic Day ceremony. She has been assisting her father in his stock broking business for over 8 years and has keenly followed the stock markets ever since. She follows the Automobile and FMCG sector in India. She represented India at the HSBC Asia Pacific Case Study competiton in Hong Kong and has won several business competitons in India. She will be joining Mckinsey & Co for a two month internship in April 2015.




Parvez Jesani


Parvez takes keen interest in derivatives trading strategies, equity value analysis and understanding macroeconomic interactions. He keenly follows the Automobile and IT sectors in India. He is a Chartered Accountant and CFA Level III and is passionate about entrepreneurship. He has worked with Credit Suisse and Edelweiss Securities as an Equity Research Analyst in the Logistics and Hospitality sector and is the founder of eParent Classes. He will be working with Mckinsey & Co as an intern.




Radhika Saini


Radhika tracks the Pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors. She is passionate about Macroeconomics and completed her Master’s Degree in Finance and Economics at the London School of Economics (2012). Working on multiple global financial models; she specifically spent time researching the mechanisms of banking and financial crises. Prior to this, Radhika graduated 3rd in Economics (Hons.) at Hansraj College. She is an enthusiastic debater and has won various national and international debates. Radhika has also spent a year conducting policy research on India and Pakistan’s trading relations at the Indian Council of Research for International Economic Relations. She will be joining the Boston Consulting Group as an intern.




Shritam Daga


Shritam keenly tracks news and events in the Pharmaceutical sector in India. He is also interested in the unexplored Renewable Energy sector and follows the Power industry. After graduating in Production & Industrial Engineering at IIT Roorkee in 2012and being consistently among the top rankers in his department, he specialized in Market Research during his 2 year stint at ZS Associates. He was primarily associated with the Pharmaceutical sector and worked on evaluating Marketing & Positioning Strategies for drugs with more than $1bn turnover. Apart from this, he loves playing Snooker and enjoys reading Fantasy Fiction novels. He will be joining Samara Capital for his internship in April 2015.




Umang Khetan


Umang worked at Morgan Stanley for a year where he got his first exposure to financial derivatives. He managed the risk on multibillion dollar derivative trades for global counter-parties and developed his skills as an Equity Analyst.
He acquired a taste for the Banking industry while at his internship at the RBI and learnt the art of valuing companies. Consequently, he has been analysing the Banking sector in India.
He completed Bachelors in Management Studies from N.M. College, Mumbai with top rankings and is now on course to attain the CFA. Passionate about national and international geopolitical developments, he also loves to teach English, travel places and read modern classics.Umang will be working with JP Morgan for his internship in April.




Virat Nilangekar


Virat takes keen interest in studying global events and is currently tracking Banking and Automobiles sectors in India. He has completed his graduation from IIT Bombay in the stream of ‘Metallurgical Engineering and Material Science’ with specialization in ‘Process Engineering’ and has also passed CFA level 2 and FRM part 1 examinations. He worked at PWC as Management Consultant for 2 years. He was extensively involved in projects from Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) industry. Virat will be working with Shannonside Capital as an intern.
