Anish Lakhani

Anish is a Chartered Accountant and is pursuing Level II of CFA®. He completed his graduation in commerce from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics (Mumbai University).
 
He has worked with Lovelock & Lewes (a PwC network firm) in the Audit and Assurance function for 4 years (including 3 years of CA articleship). This gave him practical exposure to diverse sectors like Automotive, FMCG and Power and elevated his understanding of financial statements and underlying businesses. Later in 2017, he joined Nomura in Product Control function, wherein he was responsible for analysing the performance and exposure of equity and derivative trades. During his job, he developed a keen inclination towards understanding the trade structuring of synthetic and exotic derivative products.
 
Anish has interned with Deloitte USI in M&A consulting practice.
 
At Credence, he primarily conducts fundamental and technical analysis to identify investment opportunities in Automotive and Power sectors. He is passionate about bike riding and in his free time, follows international cricket tournaments.

A Commerce graduate from Hans Raj College, Delhi University with ~2 years of work experience with Bain Capability Center and running his own financial advisory firm, Chirag is very much interested in capital markets, macroeconomic and geopolitical developments happening around the globe. Emil Benny is an economics graduate from St. Stephen's College Delhi, batch of 2018. He has cleared the first two levels of CFA program. He interned with Aurum Equity Partners in 2019, under the Private Equity division, analysing family offices and portfolios of Indian conglomerates. He is passionate about football, and currently represents the college team.
 
At Credence Capital, he tracks the FMCG sector for investment opportunities.

Gopish Gupta

Gopish completed his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Madras in 2016. Post that, he joined EY where he worked on commercial diligence and strategy projects for PE clients. He has also completed 2 levels of CFA. Currently, he is pursuing MBA at IIM Lucknow and has recently interned at McKinsey & Company.
 
His hobbies include playing Table Tennis, watching football, playing music and discussing about stocks.

Mitali completed her graduation in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women in 2017. She then did a stint with Citi as a business analyst till 2019 before joining IIM Lucknow. She is Level 1 CFA.
 
At Credence Capital she primarily covers Pharmaceutical and Banking sector. She has a good understanding of Macro Economics of the market.

Sarthak graduated from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, DU in 2017 with a Bachelors of Business Studies degree (specialisation in finance), post which he worked with D.E.Shaw India Pvt Ltd in the Data Driven Investing team of the Long-Short Equity strategy, primarily covering the US Consumer Sector. He has also interned with Ventura Securities as an equity research intern and HDFC Standard Life Insurance as a financial analyst. He will be appearing for the CFA Level II exam in June 2020.

At Credence Capital, he tracks the Automobile and Oil & Gas sector for investment opportunities. Apart from this, he is also a part of the institute Table Tennis team and the institute band, called Three point Four

Vishal Varshney

Vishal is an alumnus of BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus where he majored in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, along with taking up several MBA-level electives on security analysis and portfolio management, and derivatives.
 
He brings with him an immense experience of working in the high-tech space. He has worked for close to 3 years with NVIDIA Graphics, Bengaluru, where he led the development of infrastructure tools for devising and benchmarking NVIDIA's flagship high-compute chips, including the current market-leader, the RTX Series.
Managing his personal portfolio since 2016, he is always up for a discussion on stocks and follows the IT and the Telecom sectors at Credence. However, taking keen interest in the broader markets, he doesn't restrict himself to just these sectors when it comes to evaluating attractive investment opportunities. Being a Value Investing enthusiast, he is always on a lookout for fundamentally strong companies selling at reasonable valuations.
Since his childhood, Vishal has taken keen interest in several outdoor sports, mostly pursuing badminton and cricket these days. Also, being part of the carrom team he has played an instrumental role in securing Gold in IIM Lucknow's fest, Manfest Varchasva. In his spare time, he heads to the snooker table or can be found binge-watching web series in his room!
